Three good practice guides (GPG) will be prepared and published on the project website:
- Good practice guide on new methods and sensors developed for radon concentration monitoring in sensor network with lowered response time, increased sensitivity and reduced uncertainty. This will include at least three detection concepts based on the use of i) semiconductors, ii) ionisation chambers and iii) scintillators
- Good practice guide for traceable laboratory calibration procedures for 222Rn activity concentration sensors of different types of technologies with less than 10 % uncertainty at an activity concentration down to 50 Bq·m-3 allowing for response time and dynamic linearity testing
- Good practice guide on the development of an extension of the sensor network capable of including other existing and potential building sensor networks.
