RadonNET Kick-off meeting, 19th to 20th September 2024
The Kick-off meeting for the RadonNET (Radon metrology: Sensor networks for large buildings and future cities) project was organized by the project coordinator Benoit Sabot and held at LNE headquarters in Paris. Benoit Sabot welcomed all to the meeting and summarized some key coordination aspects of the project. He asked all project partners to briefly introduce themselves/their team and particularly focus on their radon measurement or/and calibration facilities.
After this oveview, work package leaders were asked to present their respective WP.
Benoit Sabot from CEA presented the WP1: New concepts and methods for radon concentration measurements.
Stefan Roettger from PTB presented the WP2: Traceable, in situ operando calibration procedures.
Steven Bell from NPL presented the WP3: Network of radon sensors and data analysis.
Katarzyna Woloszczuk from CLOR presented the WP4: New methods for the integration of the radon network technology into other existing sensor networks.
Petr Kovar from CMI presented WP5: Creating Impact.
Q/A section took part after each WP presentation.
